Waltz Residence Recognized at International Design Awards

Our sculptural light-atrium residence, where technology and art coexist, receives international design recognition.

Waltz Residence has been recognized at the international design awards, an acknowledgement of a project where technology and art were treated as one design language rather than two competing systems.

The residence is organized around a full-height atrium. A sweeping stair and curved balconies circle the void, and a cascading light installation descends through it — the movement that gives the house its name. Daylight is drawn deep into the plan, changing the character of every floor through the day.

Integrated systems are deliberately invisible. Lighting, climate and shading are coordinated behind stone, timber and plaster, so the technology serves the atmosphere instead of announcing itself.

For us the award confirms a working principle: restraint, proportion and craft read the same way in any language.
