Art Curation

Gallery-grade curation and commissioned works, placed and lit as part of the architecture.

Art Curation & Bespoke Art Commission

A space worth remembering is never the work of architecture and interiors alone.

Sometimes a hotel is remembered for the installation that greets you in the lobby; a headquarters for the one artwork that could belong to no other brand; a residence for an atmosphere formed between art, light, material and space that cannot be copied.

Art, then, should not be decoration placed into a space once it is finished. It should become part of the concept from the earliest stage of design.

We provide art curation, art advisory and large-scale bespoke commissions — integrating artists, designers, architects, engineering teams and technology partners from concept and selection through artist matching, fabrication and installation, to give each space an art experience genuinely its own.

Curation Is More Than Selecting Works

Conventional art placement looks for pieces of the right size and colour once a space is complete. Genuine curation asks a different question: what should this space be remembered for?

What is the essence of the brand? What is the story of the building? What should people feel on arrival? Should art sit quietly, or lead the room?

We build a curatorial strategy from space, brand and human experience — concerned not only with the work itself, but with its relationship to:

  • Architecture
  • Interior design
  • Brand culture
  • Materials
  • Lighting
  • Circulation
  • Scale
  • Landscape
  • Sound
  • Technology
So that art is not placed into the space, but designed with it.

Art Curation

We establish a curatorial direction specific to each project's brand positioning, spatial character and audience. This can include:

  • Curatorial theme
  • Spatial art strategy
  • Artist selection and matching
  • Acquisition advice
  • Original commissions
  • Scale and placement planning
  • Colour and material relationships
  • Art lighting design
  • Circulation and viewing angles
  • Installation and engineering integration
  • Overall art budget allocation

Every project can establish an artistic language of its own.

Bespoke Art Commission

Some spaces are not suited to acquiring existing work, because their scale, form, brand story and conditions are singular. Here we commission work made for the project itself.

A commission can begin from a brand story, a local culture, a natural element, or simply an emotion: waves, mountains, wind, light, cloud, trees, the traces of a city, history, the spirit of a brand.

Through the artist's practice and the engineering team's technique, these abstractions become large-scale works that genuinely exist in the space.

What Can Be Commissioned

01|Large-scale Sculpture

Suited to hotel lobbies, corporate headquarters, residence entrances, public spaces, malls and outdoor plazas. Materials follow the design:

  • Stainless steel
  • Bronze
  • Aluminium
  • Stone
  • Glass
  • Timber
  • Resin
  • Composite media

Works may range from tens of centimetres to several metres, or to landmark scale. Proportion, weight, structure, safety and installation are considered together.

02|Suspended Art Installation

Tall volumes are often best served by art as the visual focus — a suspended piece above a hotel lobby, a mall atrium work, a headquarters entrance or a grand banquet space can establish a powerful spatial identity.

Such works may combine metal, glass, acrylic, textile, light, mirror and kinetic elements, shifting as the viewing angle changes.

03|Public Art & Landmark Installation

Large buildings and developments sometimes need more than a single work — they need a symbol that can stand for the whole place. We can plan:

  • Entrance landmarks
  • Large outdoor sculpture
  • Landscape art
  • Plaza public art
  • Development installations
  • Urban art nodes
  • Brand landmarks

So the work becomes a connection between the architecture and the city.

04|Brand Art Commission

For a company, art can become part of the brand language. Brand story, founding philosophy, culture, industry character and product elements can all be translated into original work.

A technology company might develop a concept from data, light and connection. A hotel might draw on local culture, the sea, mountains or the memory of a city. A luxury house might build its language from craft, material and heritage.

The result is not decoration, but an artistic asset that genuinely belongs to the brand.

05|Digital & Immersive Art

Art no longer lives only on canvas or in sculpture; technology creates new spatial experience. We integrate, as the project requires:

  • Projection Mapping
  • LED Art
  • Interactive Art
  • Digital Installation
  • Dynamic Lighting
  • Sensor Interaction
  • Generative Art
  • Immersive Experience

A hotel lobby wall might shift with time, weather or season. A headquarters might render live data as image. Art becomes something continually alive.

Art × Architecture

What distinguishes large-scale art is that it is no longer only artwork — it is also engineering.

A five-metre sculpture demands thinking about weight. A piece suspended ten metres above the floor demands suspension points. Outdoor work must answer wind, rain, weathering and structure. Kinetic work with light and mechanism requires power, control systems and long-term maintenance.

A major commission must therefore hold art, architecture, structure and engineering together at once. From the earliest design stage we can integrate:

  • Architects
  • Interior designers
  • Curators
  • Artists
  • Structural specialists
  • Lighting designers
  • Digital technology teams
  • Construction teams

So a work is not only creatable, but can be realised safely and completely.

Our Commission Process

01|Project Understanding

Understanding the architecture, brand story, positioning, users and budget.

02|Art Concept

Establishing the work's narrative, artistic direction, scale and visual language.

03|Artist Matching

Selecting the artist, sculptor or cross-media practitioner the work requires — not the most famous name, but the right one for this project.

04|Bespoke Design

The artist creates specifically for the spatial conditions and curatorial direction, developing through sketches, maquettes and 3D simulation.

05|Technical Integration

For large works this covers:

  • Structural assessment
  • Weight analysis
  • Fixing method
  • Suspension systems
  • Lighting configuration
  • Power requirements
  • Material selection
  • Maintenance strategy

So that artistic concept and engineering reality hold together.

06|Fabrication

Workshop production, material processing, surface finishing and assembly — with modular design where transport and installation require it.

07|Installation

Major works usually follow the construction programme, so access routes, lifting, sequence, site protection and final positioning are planned well in advance.

08|Final Curation

Once installed, lighting, viewing angle, spatial relationship, signage and interpretation are refined — so the art truly becomes part of the space.

Where This Belongs

  • International hotels
  • Boutique hotels
  • Luxury resorts
  • Luxury residences
  • Private clubs
  • Large developments
  • Reception centres
  • Corporate headquarters
  • Malls
  • Flagship stores
  • Medical and aesthetic spaces
  • Art museums
  • Exhibition spaces
  • Public buildings
  • High-end offices
  • Brand experience centres
  • Large dining venues

Where a space seeks to establish strong brand memory, art is among the most effective means available.

Why High-End Spaces Need Art

Because at the highest level, the competition is no longer material. Marble can be matched. Furniture can be bought. The same light fitting can be found.

But work created for one space cannot be fully copied. It carries the story of the space, the spirit of the brand, and the moment at which architecture and art were completed together.

Art Creates Identity

We do not simply find art for a space. Through art, we create identity for it.

From curation, artist matching and original commissions to large sculpture, suspended installations, public art and digital work, we help each space find its own artistic language.

Curated for the Space. Created for the Brand. Designed to be Remembered.
Art should not merely exist within a space — it should be the reason people remember it.
